November 27th, 1967 was an important date for jimi's Irish fans as he headlined a concert in Ireland in the Whitla Hall in Queens University, Belfast. Johnny Allen Hendrix better known as Jimi Hendrix was an American songwriter, singer but once of the most famous guitarists in history. He performed in many festivals one of the most famous was when he headlined in Woodstock Festival in 1969. In a 1967, concert he had to be brought to hospital because of burns on his hands. Before he was supposed to perform the artist decided to light one of his guitars on fire, this became one of trademarks others where stunts like playing the guitar with his teeth and behind his back....very impressive. Jimi Hendrix died on September 18, 1970 in an apartment in London he died in bed after taking a reported nine Vesperax sleeping pills and choking in his sleep, there is some mystery to his dead because the woman he was with claims that he was still alive when put into the ambulance but the paramedics claims he was dead before they got there. The matter was looked into further but no new evidence was ever found.
