Another werid work story

Okay this isnt to long but was at the end of the night and I was so tired I thought it was hilarious and I really thought I was on naked camera or something. So there I was in Carrig Donn working away, closing down one of the tills and a man came over to me and complained the shop was to warm I should turn down the heat I explained that the shop had no heating on and because the shop was packed it might be a little warm and also the lights in our shop can give out a little heat he suggessed that I turn the lights off it was far to warm I said I couldnt do that it would be to unsafe, And I thought that was that he left me alone then. A while later he returned and asked how do I test my teapots, I was thinkin how do you test teapots??? he was deadly serious and wanted me to explain our teapot testing process. I said the first thing that came ot my head which was that our teapots are safe and we dont have time to test them he got in a real huffy mood and said that it was terrible and very unsafe and stormed out of the shop. I started to laugh until I realised his wife was standing right behind me......opps

Katy French

Katy French, one of Ireland's top model collapsed at a house party on the 30th of December in Asbourne and was rushed to hospital, its said that she hasn't regain consciousness. The sudden illness was very suspicious, friends claimed she had a kidney infection. But in a recent interview Katy French admitted she took cocaine and she said it was apart of Dublin social scene, she insisted she has stopped taking cocaine when she learned of its dangers. Friends of Katy French, including former Miss Ireland Andrea Roche, have been to the hospital to offer support to her family, who have remain by her bedside. She also only a few days before the accident had celebrated her 24th birthday, that is why many people were shocked to hear about her critical illness.

~Quitting is hard~

Decided to quit work yesterday have a load of reasons just didnt like the job in the end so decided it wasn't worth the hassel to stay on. Still have to work for christmas, iam working every weekend up till christmas which is bad news for the people I need to buy presents for because I have college all week. Think its the worst thing about christmas having to decided what to get people for christmas, I hate when people dont tell me what they want because I know and they know that unless they tell me their not going to get anything close to what they actually wanted. Okay got a bit off the point had to quit my job and I kind of had to do it twice because I was really nervous and my manager rushed me into thinking about what hours I was going to do and I basically agreed to work the hours I was given in the first place so had to go back and do it again worked out in the end though my last day is on the 16th.

Fred Claus

I think this is the first bad Christmas movie this year, defiantly not Vince Vaughns best moment compared to 'Wedding Crashers' and 'The break-up' this was a disaster. This film included other good actors like Rachel Weisz and Kevin Spacey also the only surprise in this movie was that Ludacris was in it. This film was a huge let down I thought with Vince Vaughn in it, it would have brilliant jokes and would be really entertaining but it was terrible there was no good jokes it tired to be heart warming and have a happy ever after but the end was predicable, I no its a pg movie its not supposed to but full of mystery but from after 15 minutes into the movie everyone knew what was going to happen. I went to see Fred Claus in Swords people actually started to leave towards the end it was to dragged with nothing really entertaining happening.

Jimi Hendrix's Birthday

November 27th is Jimi Hendrix's birthday, tomorrow Jimi Hendrix would have been 65. November 27th, 1967 was an important date for jimi's Irish fans as he headlined a concert in Ireland in the Whitla Hall in Queens University, Belfast. Others artists like pink Floyd, Rick Emerson, The Move not a bad line up for a Monday night.
Johnny Allen Hendrix better known as Jimi Hendrix was an American songwriter, singer but once of the most famous guitarists in history. He performed in many festivals one of the most famous was when he headlined in Woodstock Festival in 1969. In a 1967, concert he had to be brought to hospital because of burns on his hands. Before he was supposed to perform the artist decided to light one of his guitars on fire, this became one of trademarks others where stunts like playing the guitar with his teeth and behind his back....very impressive. Jimi Hendrix died on September 18, 1970 in an apartment in London he died in bed after taking a reported nine Vesperax sleeping pills and choking in his sleep, there is some mystery to his dead because the woman he was with claims that he was still alive when put into the ambulance but the paramedics claims he was dead before they got there. The matter was looked into further but no new evidence was ever found.

Dont trust sweet old ladies!!!!!

I work in Carrig donn which to whoever doesnt know sells clothes and giftware stuff like crystal and newbridge and the like, anyway working nine-seven on saturday...not many people believed me when I told them this story but anyway was really busy on saturday loads of kids and families were in the shopping centre because santa was coming(awhh) okay so the place was packed. About four o'clock I was helping these lovely two old women they were getting their christmas presents, they mainly wanted to get giftware stuff like glasses and jewellery, they were just interested in the stuff that wasn't in the cabinets I thought brilliant dont have to run up stairs to the stock room. They wanted to buy Waterford glasses worth about 100 euro for each box which where out on the floor, but wanted to wait for one of their daughters to come to the shop so they wouldn't have to carry it so they left the shop i guessed to get her. So then it coming up to about half five had totally forgot about these women, until my manger notice two boxes which the glasses in them were closed, when she opened them the boxes her empty the security tages in the boxes, mentioned to my manager about the two women who where very interested in getting the glasses but their was no way they could have carried them. Went and got the security men in the shoping centre they looked back on the cameras and we all saw a middle aged women with a large buggy take the glasses the security man asked me a few questions I told them about the people who wanted to buy the glasses that I knew of including these two old women they looked back further on the camras and to my shock told me these two women are barred from the shopping centre because they are well known shop lifters and get their families to help, okay this might not seem so strange or shocking to some but if you had have seen these two old women you would not believe they would shop lift, they looked like women who dont like to leave the house and stay in and knit or something, so moral of this story is not to trust everyone they might not be what they seem.
